Five Finished Editorials!
Soooo I have been beavering away to get a set of 5 editorial pieces finished for uni. I'm pretty pleased with the outcome of these. Four have been created digitally bar the 'Sun, Sea and Sniffles' which I posted previously on my blog.. it's rather satisfying to see it within the text I must say!

Crown Brand Corned Beef Ad Poster
For this piece of uni work we were set to create a poster to advertise 'Crown Brand' corned beef using three space themed characters. Fast discovering that I am a sucker for punishment as these gouache pieces take bloomin ages to complete! 200x290mm all gouache on mount board.

London 'Stories' Poster
The London transport company Serco have set their annual poster competition with the theme of 'London Stories' These can either be current, historical, fiction, non fiction etc etc. Here are a few snippets of what I'm currently working on. The whole thing shall be revealed once the slog is over!
Fun with Jesus..and beards
This is a painting I did with the tag line 'An Audience for a Sermon'. Decided to have a bit of fun with this and created an A2 gouache painting honouring Jesus and his impressive holy beard! The piece is called 'Annual Jesus Look-Alike Contest' and took over 40 hours...I now have recurring beard nightmares and am seeking therapy.
More editorials! Oh the pain
Two more client visual editorial pieces. Think I'm finally getting the hang of them! These will all be coloured eventually. The first piece is to accompany an article about the steps science it taking to being closer to being capable of mind reading. The second is about one irritated man's quest to block out the noises of modern society!
